Couldn't recommend more for a walk in evening
Comfortable room, good breakfast, with soft drinks in the fridge that are refilled daily and a perfect location just 0.5 km from the nearest tram station, making it easy to explore the area.

Wonderful breakfasts, the stay was really nice!
I enjoyed the place, everything was first-class. I had outstanding food for breakfast with local products. The hotel had unbeatable location just next door to Munich for business or pleasure, sites to see, directions, and restaurants and tram 19.

Nicely appointed hotel located in a very very nice area just next door to the center of Munich and the city centre and the Christmas Markets. Well-equipped and beautifully decorated property rooms with attic ceiling. Absolutely lovely location, just close to Maximilian Park, enjoyed this place. Splendid stay, as always.

excellent access to parks and key attractions for weekend explorers
I enjoyed how close I was to beautiful parks for morning runs, and just a 15-minute walk led me to the bustling Odeonsplatz with all its iconic architecture and charm. The hotel has a great atmosphere and friendly staff.

Very nice and quiet hotel. Nicely decorated. Very well trained and nice staff. Delicious breakfast.
I had to pay a little bit much to have a room towards the garden. Even if the street is not very noisy, garden rooms is better.

Everything that was advertised on its website was present. Luxury room, parking available, internet access, pleasant staff, good food (we only had dinner), lovely gardens & close access to transport (either bus or underground train) for getting to city centre.
Nothing (although breakfast was not included). As we left early cannot give any comments on it.

This was the most inviting and enjoyable hotel. Staff were truly respo nsive to any request, all spoke fluent English and displayed genuine warmth and welcoming attitude. Accommodations were extra-ordinary and made for a memorable visit to this remarkable city.
Location - close to the beautiful English gardens - was a bit remote. As long as guests are willing to use taxis to center city ( a short ride) this is not a real draw-back inlight of the many positive aspects of a stay At The Palace.

The front desk staff in particular were wonderful, they made us feel like we were the only guests there! Also, they knew to have the a/c running for their "American guests."
A little understaffed in the restaurant/bar at night
